New Ibanez SR300M, New - Damaged

Unfortunately, this bass was dropped (approx. 70cm from the floor) by a member of staff in the store. The bass landed directly on the strap button, Cutting almost a perfect circle out of our carpet, this impact then broke the paintwork/laquer around the strap button location. We asked a local luthier for a quotation on replacing the cracked laquer, unfortunately, due to the way that Ibanez apply the paint and laquer it was not possible to repair the area seamlessly.
